DUEDAA Get-Together 2026: Launching a New Alumni Management Platform with Gradnet

This was the DUEDAA Get Together 2026, hosted by the Dhaka University Economics Department Alumni Association. This year’s gathering carried something extra: the launch of a new alumni management platform to support the community for years to come.

Dr. Firdousi Naher, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Economics at Dhaka University, attended as Special Guest. Syed Ali Jowher Rizvi, President of DUEDAA, presided over the evening as Chairperson. Their presence lent the occasion the kind of institutional weight that made the portal launch feel like a genuine milestone rather than a side announcement.

Who Is DUEDAA?

The Dhaka University Economics Department Alumni Association brings together graduates of one of the country’s most respected economics programs. Its alumni have gone on to shape policy, academia, and industry both in Bangladesh and internationally.
